“Once I got noticed, I put a lot of time into checking out the national team,” he recalled. “I’m thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, this is the team that went to the Olympics in 2016! I want to make this dream a reality, and this is the first step.'” It also was his first step in a journey across the world. He has played in Dubai, England, France, Australia, China, Singapore, New Zealand and South Africa.
