Kelsey McGregorGrad wants to teachNAPLES | Kelsey McGregor somehow found time in her busy schedule to play varsity golf, basketball, track and tennis, be the executive vice president of the student council, a Celtic Ambassador, giving tours of the school for students and parents and do more than 200 community service hours this year all while excelling academically at St. John Neumann High School in Naples. She even worked for the Miami Dolphins as a ball girl in the past few years. Her hard work to earn grades strong enough to receive several scholarships that will help pay for her college education. Kelsey credits her family with supporting her interests. “My family has had the most important impact on all of this,” she said. “I couldn’t have done any of this without them.” Her life has a foundation in her faith with its roots at San Marco Parish on Marco Island. She has been an altar server for 11 years and is active in the Youth Ministry as one of the Maids of Mary. She also attended St. Elizabeth Seton School. Kelsey will be going to the University of South Florida with hopes of ultimately becoming a teacher, preferably as a teacher at a Catholic school. “My mom was a teacher at a Catholic school and it is something I want to do,” she said.
