Bishop Lynch's Christmas messagePresione aqui para el mensaje del Obispo en español. Brothers and Sisters, During the Christmas season, we recall the Virgin Mary’s humble “yes” to bring to the world, Christ Jesus. With this yes, our God came to dwell among us and was laid in a lowly manger. Emmanuel, “God with us,” transformed our world by perfectly revealing the depth of God’s love. Today, Christ lives as fully with us as he did 2,000 years ago. We encounter him in the Eucharist, and he continues to touch our hearts and transform our lives. Like Mary we are called to answer an enthusiastic “yes” and carry God’s love to all the world. This Christmas how do we respond to God’s call to manifest the love of Christ, especially among the poor and suffering? May your Christmas be filled with the hope of our Savior! Warmly yours in Christ, Most Reverend Robert N. Lynch Bishop of St. Petersburg |
