The sounds of St. Paul: ‘eww!’ ‘bark!’ ‘ring!’Volunteers from public service professions and area businesses came to St. Paul Catholic School in St. Petersburg Feb. 22 to present programs at Scifest, an annual event that dedicates a morning to teaching the sciences in a fun way. Scifest also helps the students learn about more than a dozen organizations and agencies and their work in the community. Among this year’s participants were the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, the St. Petersburg Police Department, and Great Explorations, the Hands-On Museum.
