PASTA FAGIOLA

Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 can navy beans
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • parsley
  • onions
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • grated cheese

Directions

  • Brown onions and put in seasoning. Add navy beans, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Let come to a boil, and simmer for 1 hour. Cook elbows according to package until al dente. Do not take all the water out; leave less than half water. Mix with sauce. Serve hot.
