The Florida Catholic’s associate publisher, Christopher Gunty, is in Washington following the March For Life using technology that allows us to connect and report in exciting new ways. Twitter and TwitPic provide the opportunity to directly connect with readers who follow us on Twitter via @TFC_March4Life. The dispatches are also being received live on this page.

While these short bursts of information (“tweets are limited to 140 characters) and cell phone photos are not a replacement for quality photojournalism and in–depth coverage, they provide an added dimension of immediacy in the news reporting process.
