We write to you today, to tell you of an exciting opportunity to fulfill this important duty and make your voice heard in the halls of our state Capitol and the chambers of our lawmakers in Washington. Through the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC) Advocacy Network, we can raise our voices as one and speak out collectively on issues at the heart of our Gospel values. Together, we can work to end the tragedy of abortion. We can help decision makers recognize the innate human dignity of those who are poor, sick, disabled, elderly or imprisoned. We can assist parents in choosing the most appropriate schools for their children. We can welcome those coming to our state and nation as immigrants seeking a better life for themselves and their families. We are asking you to become involved.
