Noles’ Bowden shares password for heaven

TALLAHASSEE | Msgr. William Kerr accepts the offertory gifts from Coach Chuck Amato, left, quarterback Christian Ponder and offensive guard Andrew Gatko of the Florida State University football team at Mass Aug. 17 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Tallahassee. Coach Amato arranged for the entire team to participate in the Mass. At the conclusion, asked to make a few remarks, head coach Bobby Bowden quipped, “When we get to the pearly gates, the password is ‘Go Noles’.”
