Alfred-Washburn Center needs your help! The center is a homeless facility operated by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul which serves 100-130 homeless who visit to eat, shower, obtain clothing or do their laundry. Volunteers are needed on Saturdays to provide these much-needed services. There is a special need for volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays who are comfortable interacting with the homeless, to listen to their stories to determine if anything can be done to break their cycle of homeless.
