Longtime construction chief to leave postORLANDO | After administering construction for the Diocese of Orlando for more than two decades, registered architect Bill Kramer is leaving the position and a legacy on Aug. 8. “I am most grateful to Mr. Bill Kramer who served the church well for more than 23 years,” said Bishop Thomas Wenski. “He master-planned the building and construction office of the diocese and worked to create the sacred spaces of so many of our churches, as well as influenced the beauty and functionality of our schools and other entities. We wish him the best of success in his future endeavors.” Ken Pawlowski, a parishioner at Nativity Parish in Longwood, is immediate past chairman of the diocesan building committee – a position he held for 13 of the 14 years he served. He is an architect with Disney Design and Engineering and said, “In my capacity as a volunteer, it was an honor working with Bill. He’s always very professional, capable, and a great deal of construction has happened throughout his tenure. We’re growing and continuing to grow.” Kramer said: “I feel that I was blessed in the time that I was here because of the volume of new construction – between $300 million and $350 million in 23 years.” Next month, Antonio (Tony) Aguerrevere is expected to join the diocese in the new position of senior director of construction and development services. Aguerrevere will serve as the administrator of the newly established Policy and Procedures for Construction Activities in the Orlando Diocese. He has more than 27 years in project management, facilities management and engineering.
