ORLANDO | More than 100 representatives of various faiths came together at the Diocese of Orlando Chancery on Jan 18. to join in prayer for Christian Unity. This year’s event marked the 100 year anniversary of the first weeklong Christian unity prayer observance that originated with the Franciscan Friars and Sisters of the Atonement. “Ecumenism helps us rediscover our fraternity of brothers and sisters, ” Bishop Wenski said at the gathering. “What is significant is what unites us — Jesus Christ our Lord.” Read the full story HERE.
