For more than one–half century, Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters have served the south Florida area faithfully. Sister Patricia Knapp, 89, shown above in the white veil on the day in 1941 when she became a novice, is the last remaining Victory Noll missionary in service in the archdiocese. At the end of May, Sister Knapp will return to her order’s motherhouse in Indiana. Ana Rodriquez–Soto’s article on the end of an era in the archdiocese, “Last of her kind,” begins here.
